סיכום:Introduction: Chronic cervical pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal conditions worldwide, with multiple causes that affect the functionality of those who suffer from it. Currently, acupuncture is considered a complementary therapeutic option with promising results. Objective: To determine the effects of acupuncture as part of an evidence-based physiotherapeutic treatment, in order to theoretically support its integration into clinical practice for patients with chronic cervical pain. Methodology: Documentary-bibliographic research with an exploratory design and qualitative approach. A total of 24 articles were analyzed, selected through search strategies using keywords, MeSH terms, and Boolean operators related to acupuncture and chronic cervical pain. Results: The studies revealed that patients who underwent acupuncture experienced significant improvements in pain reduction and functionality. These findings suggest strong evidence of the positive effect of acupuncture in most participants. However, some limitations were identified, indicating the need for further research to better understand its effects. Conclusions: The integration of acupuncture into clinical practice provides better outcomes than the use of a single therapeutic modality in patients with chronic cervical pain. The results obtained suggest the need for more studies to strengthen the available evidence.
