Итог:ABSTRACT: The main purpose of this research study focused on a bibliographic review. 35 scientific articles were collected after evaluation using the Physiotherapy Evidence Database scale, and inclusion and exclusion criteria were used to select them. The research was of the documentary type, based on the deductive method with an analytical-descriptive level of research. The scientific databases were Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Sage Journal, and Scielo. The research work includes a description of the general aspects of early stimulation, and benefits based on various techniques, among others. After the search for information about this complication, it became evident that the factors that determine the evolution of the premature child are the gestational age; low birth weight, polycythemia of the newborn, neonatal sepsis, blood incompatibility are some of the health problems that children born prematurely, as they suffer an interruption in their neurodevelopment, they need more intense and continuous stimulation. We know that Early Stimulation consists of a set of activities carried out directly or indirectly from early childhood; it is a practice that has spread worldwide, in the field that has been investigated we are advised to develop it within the first 5 years of life, at this stage reaches a full development of brain plasticity and their physical and social skills, the classification of newborns according to their gestational age divides them into four categories: extreme, very premature, moderate and late. Extreme preterm infants are a high-risk group.
