Crynodeb:The current research project named "Pain perception and work performance in some workers at Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo 2017-2018". Its objective is to investigate worker’s pain perception. The current research presents a quasi-experimental model of cross-sectional and quantitative-qualitative type. Its established population was 30 participants with a sample of 18, which consists of 16 women with 88.88% and 2 men with 11.11% between the ages of 25 to 55 years. We have managed to reduce frequent pains in the employees through intervention by giving 5 weeks of intervention from 15:00 pm to 17:00 pm. It performed a pre and post test of EGDC (scale of chronic pain gradation) consisting of a questionnaire of 8 questions, on labor productivity and the deterioration of the general health activity , where results were obtained as can be seen in the table that questions number 1, 3, 4. It has a correlation in a significant range describe significant progress in work performance, group and teamwork. The second variable accounts for work performance where a pre-test (WPAI: Pain) is applied, which consists of 6 questions about the repercussion of the pain, As it can be seen in the table number 2 of the Wilcoxon test, we can draw the following results that in all the 6 questions , there is no significant relationship for these questions since there is no alteration indicating that the work performance there was no change with the interventions they have received , after 5 weeks of intervention. A post-test was evaluated where the statistical data shows that there was no significant value since the time was very short and the population number is small.
