| Riassunto: | The analysis of alcohol consumption in the workplace and its relationship with regulations that require the implementation of preventive programs is a topic of great importance for companies. In this context, a study was conducted using the AUDIT and CAGE tests, which are recognized tools for evaluating patterns of alcohol consumption among employees. These tests made it possible to analyze factors such as frequency, quantity, and consumption patterns, as well as the influence of sociodemographic variables (age, gender, marital status, and educational level). The reliability of the results was validated through Cronbach’s Alpha and the KMO index, ensuring accuracy in measuring alcohol consumption. The study included 83 workers, 98.8% of whom reported a low level of consumption according to the AUDIT test, reflecting predominantly healthy habits. Meanwhile, the CAGE test indicated that 46.9% of employees showed no evidence of problems related to alcohol consumption, while 53.1% showed signs of possible complications. Despite these figures, statistical analyses found no significant correlation between sociodemographic variables and symptoms of dependency or harmful behaviors associated with alcohol. This finding suggests that problematic consumption is not directly influenced by these characteristics. As a proposal, the development of an alcohol prevention manual is suggested to reinforce preventive programs within companies, aiming to minimize risks and promote healthy workplace environments. |
