סיכום:ABSTRACT The objective of this research work was to evaluate the dimensional stability of impressions with addition silicone according to disinfections by immersion technique. For this purpose, an experimental in vitro study was carried out with 40 samples of addition silicone 3M ESPE ExpressTM XT Putty Soft and Light Body, distributed in 4 groups of 10 samples. Group 0 (control) was not disinfected, group 1 disinfected with 5.25% sodium hypochlorite, group 2 disinfected with 2% glutaraldehyde and group 3 disinfected with 2% chlorhexidine, all with immersion technique for 10 minutes. 4 measurement dates were taken: before disinfection (date 1), and after disinfection at 1 hour (date 2), 24 hours (date 3) and 7 days (date 4) after having made the impressions. The results showed dimensional change in all groups, the significance analysis showed that there are statistically significant differences of dimensional change (p=0.00) in the last measurement date in relation to the sample group category and also in the initial and final dimensional change measure of the tested groups. It is concluded that group 0 (control) underwent initial expansion and then experienced contraction on the other measurement dates, groups 1, 2 and 3 underwent expansion on all measurement dates. The group that came closest to the measurements of the master model was group 0 (control), followed by group 1, then group 2 and the group that experienced the greatest dimensional change was group 3. Key words: Disinfectants, silicone addition, chlorhexidine, glutaraldehyde, sodium hypochlorite. Reviewed by: Lcda. Diana Chávez English Professor. c.c. 065003795-5
