添加標簽 | 總結: | The city of Saquisilí is located in the central depression or inter-Andean groove in the center of the Sierra region of the province of Cotopaxi, in the central mountains of Ecuador; it houses a population of 13,916 inhabitants in its urban area and 17,559 inhabitants in its rural area; with an area of 22,291 hectares, located between natural parks and ecological reserves, its main economic activity being commerce. This area is organized in a checkerboard-shaped configuration with a central square surrounded by important facilities. Saquisilí is one of the few cities in the country that maintains its indigenous market, historically recognized for its folklore, tradition, and culture. Furthermore, the public space in the cantonal capital of Saquisilí is deteriorating due to a lack of maintenance, creating visual, environmental, and physical pollution. Hence, there is a need for an intervention in the most significant public space in the city, such as the Cachipamba Ecological Park, that, through the analysis of urban events, establishes contextualized and coherent guidelines that respond to the needs of its inhabitants, creating healthy and functional spaces. That fully serves the user. |
