| Čoahkkáigeassu: | The aim the following research is to determine the relationship between family monoparentality in the development of the self-esteem in the octavo año de Educación General Básica of the romos “A, B, C and D” de la Unidad Educativa “Miguel Ángel León Pontón”; it was done due the majority of students come from single-parent families and it is believed that this influence en the development of self-esteem, after considering the environmental problematic that affects them; Theoretically this research is based on the independent variable Monoparental Families and the dependent Self-esteem. Methodologically, the research desingned is non-experimental, field and bibliographic, at the level it is descriptive, explanatory and correlational, by the type of study is transversal, the scientific method was applied through the Deductive-Inductive process the population of 120 students of the octavo año de Educación General Básica of the romos “A, B, C and D”; the simple was not probabilistic, it has shown that was no intentional, which is made up bay 63 students, the technique used for the independent variable is the socio-economic record, the same identifies that the student come from a single-parent, two-parent or extended family; for the dependent variable the Rosenberg test was used, which measures the lels of self-esteem in hole or in a part, it means at a lower score, the individual expresses a low level of self-esteem, as a conclusion it is determined that the individuals from a single-parent family have a direct relationship with the self steem. It is recommended to strengthen self-esteem by generating a warm emotional atmosphere, involvig him/her a participant in the activities within a educational environment as a group work with his/her classmates and teachers, family members trying to be more communicative, when they keep in touch with them, asking about his/her interests, in order to strengthen the self-esteem in the individual. |
