Zusammenfassung:This research project's purpose is the integral architectural design proposal for a tourist and service distribution complex in the Chimborazo National Park determined through the information collected and investigated. Evidencing problems caused by tourists increase that arrive daily in the snow has generated an over-demand of visitors and those staying in the shelters, with a shelter capacity of a maximum of 30 people each. There is a need for new equipment at the entrance of the El Arenal, which leads to the Nevado, allowing this to be the first available for visitors, providing greater comfort to tourists. From this premise, a field investigation was carried out, obtaining as a result that: the climatic conditions of the place are pretty unfavorable for a stay outdoors, which force to enact a design of the tourist distribution center with climatic strategies, using materials that allow a correct thermal comfort allowing a good stay for visitors, also to enhance the landscape character of the place, giving a visual prominence to the snowy Chimborazo. The project is developed on the edge of the Province of Chimborazo. The property is located at the entrance to the Chimborazo Fauna Production Reserve, which will allow it to be directly integrated with the current infrastructure, from where circuits will start, allowing activities to be carried out allowed within the reserve.
