“Incidencia del sector comercial la dolorosa de la ciudad de Riobamba en el desarrollo económico de la zona, período 2015”

The economy in Riobamba city and especially in the Dolorosa sector has been obtaining great changes, since it is characterized by a large influx of merchants of all kinds, the same that is identifying to help in one way or another to the economic development of families who exercise their trade in this sector. After carrying out a detailed analysis of the situation of the sector's problems, this research shows that, as a consequence, there is the incidence of the traders in the sector. The feasibility to carry out the study was justified and importance was given to this in the best way. The objective that guided the work was to determine the "INCIDENCE OF THE BUSINESS SECTOR THE DOLOROSA FROM RIOBAMBA CITY IN THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE ÁREA, PERIOD 2015". Theoretically this work was based on the independent variable, the commercial sector of La Dolorosa. Methodologically the design is descriptive, the scientific method was applied through the Hypothetical - Inductive process, and the technique used for the dependent variable Economic Development was the surveys, which were conducted to determine the economic incidence of the neighborhood. Concluding that there are 212 traders in the sector who are composed of formal and informal traders. It was also known that the trade in the La Dolorosa neighborhood influences positively the economy of the city.
