| Streszczenie: | The present investigation identified the transitions in the change of use and cover of the soil in the Cebadas River water zone from 1998 to 2007 and from 2007 to 2018. The methodology began from the spatial and multitemporal analysis where the geographic units were quantified, generating three thematic maps, where seven categories were identified (Water; Páramo; Cultivation, Forest; Wetland; Pasture; Populations and roads). The results showed a constant increase in the area devoted to cultivation, going from 17.70% to 22.58%; On the other hand, a continuous decrease in Pasture coverage is 12.55% to 6.86%. Then, the most significant changes in the landscape were obtained with the analysis of systematic transitions, where the area destined for forest gained surface area replacing areas such as water and crops while, the use of the crop is directed to lose surface and is replaced by the forest category reflecting a relation of profit and loss. Finally, the intensity analysis represents a quantitative method that varies expanding information and estimating changes. A level of rapidity during the period 1998-2007 underwent an "accelerated" process of change exceeding the uniform threshold of 4.58%; by its nature, the category of population manifested in an "active" transition process with a greater intensity subsequently, a level of transcendence was evaluated in terms of profit, the populated categories, crops and pastures exhibit transitions directed towards the moor category, and in loss terms the moor and wetland categories are evaluated, which exhibit transitions directed towards the grazing and populated categories |
