總結:Urinary tract infections continue to be one of the main causes of morbidity, with a higher incidence in women than in men, determining that the main bacterium that causes 90% of infections is Escherichia Coli. The present investigation of descriptive and retrospective type and of cross-section was carried out in order to determine the prevalence of urinary tract infection and the complications that occur women in gestational state that were attended at the Health Center Espoch-Lizarzaburu in the year 2017 to 2018. Once the present investigation was carried out, it was determined that the majority of urinary tract infections in pregnant women occur between 20 and 25 years of age with 33%, in which the main complications that they presented during their pregnancy in which it could be evidenced as for example 32% presented a premature delivery that was one of the biggest complications with 11%, followed by threat of abortion with 9%, rupture of membranes in a 7 %, and low birth weight with 5%, there are also pathologies among which include bacterial vaginosis, overweight by 7%. Most of the patients who attended Espoch Lizarzaburu health center presented asymptomatic bacteriuria with 77% (106 patients), cystitis in 16% (22 patients) and with 7% (10 patients) Acute pyelonephritis.
