Intervención urbano arquitectónico del mercado municipal nuestra Señora del Cisne en la Ciudad de Francisco de Orellana

This research focuses on developing a proposal for urban-architectural intervention in the Nuestra Señora del Cisne Municipal Market, located in the city of Francisco de Orellana, Ecuador, as a supply center for citizens. The proposal arises from the interest in improving the market's image and addressing the current problems that the building presents that affect its functionality. The research method used consists of the collection of theoretical information, such as the collection of empirical data from observation and interviews; the commercial dynamics, the diversity of products, the infrastructure, and the satisfaction of market users are investigated to obtain accurate data on the current state, as well as the analysis of references that contribute to obtaining feasible strategies to generate solutions through the implementation of public spaces that are integrated into the environment, thus promoting commercial and cultural development. Based on the results obtained, the need to intervene in the Nuestra Señora del Cisne Municipal Market area is identified to guarantee effective product marketing aligned with the demands of the local population and the implementation of equipment that complements the market and gives dynamism to the place.
