The research methodology is observational, descriptive and cross-sectional in nature through the development of a STEAM methodology focused on and aimed at teaching General Electronics for first year technical baccalaureate students of the Consumer Electronics professional category. The technique applied was a survey directed at 36 students and a questionnaire of questions as an instrument, with the purpose of determining the level of knowledge of the students about the curricular contents corresponding to the course, the resulting information will be processed using the Excel statistical program. . The results shown during the process of applying the diagnostic test revealed a wide variability in the level of knowledge of the students in the subject of General Electronics. Through this process, we have been able to evaluate the students' level of understanding and familiarity with the fundamental concepts of Electronics. These results indicate that the majority of students, 69.44%, obtained grades classified as "Regular." Which suggests the need for pedagogical interventions to strengthen their understanding and skills in Electronics. However, it is also important to highlight that 30.56% of the students obtained grades classified as "Good", this indicates that a significant group already has solid knowledge in this subject.
