Summary:ABSTRACT: Educational methods have varied, that is, education is not only formal but also informal, distance, self-learning models, virtual, etc. One of the different causes that have influenced these changes is the use of Information and Communication Technologies, for this reason the main objective of this research is to establish the importance of ICT in the development of logical-mathematical intelligence in children of 6th Grade of Basic Education of the Educational Institution "National Housing Board", Quito, Ecuador. The methodological approach used was of an explanatory, descriptive and mixed type, bibliographic and field research techniques were applied, specifically observation through a questionnaire of questions that were executed by the students through exercises of knowledge and reasoning in the resolution of operations and problems. mathematicians applying logic in many of them; where it was highlighted that the students present medium and low knowledge to correctly solve the mathematical operations of the questionnaire. It is concluded that ICT through gamification through the digital platform Kahoot motivates students to acquire new knowledge in a fun, easy, flexible way in the area of mathematics and that they are useful technological tools for both teachers and students.
