Gaia:The main objective of this research was to develop a graphic proposal with seventh-semester students from the Pedagogy of Arts and Humanities program to represent the Chimborazo legend "The Headless Priest," aiming to preserve the province's intangible cultural heritage through the creation of a comic that reflects the worldview and beliefs that ancestors sought to convey through these stories. The research design was non-experimental and cross-sectional, with a quantitative approach and a descriptive-exploratory scope. The study focused on 17 seventh-semester students from the Pedagogy of Arts and Humanities program at the National University of Chimborazo during the 2024 2s period. The research objectives were achieved using a survey as the technique and a 10-question questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The results indicate that the students have significantly enhanced their knowledge regarding comics and Chimborazo legends, underscoring the academic and cultural significance of these variables. Furthermore, the conclusion presents the outcome of the proposed project, namely the comic created by the author to represent the Chimborazo legend "The Headless Priest," contributing to disseminating this intangible cultural heritage using modern tools to engage current and future generations.
