El proyecto Riobamba Digital, en el imaginario de los habitantes de la cuidad de Riobamba, año 2020-2021.

The Riobamba digital project constitutes, in practice, for the Riobamba citizens a support tool at an educational, commercial, and technological level that makes available to society the digital world that every day becomes more essential. The objective of this article is to identify the influence of the project called "Riobamba digital city" in the imaginary of the inhabitants of the city of Riobamba in the year 2020-2021, in order to know the most outstanding aspects that revolve around the development technological and social. The type of research is mixed, of a qualitative and quantitative nature, which among other results, allowed us to know that 72.5% know little about the project, 89.3% connect between 1 to 2 days, 77, 5% think that the quality of the internet is regular, 65.5% use the project for social networks, 15.5% for entertainment, 13% use it for commercial purposes and 6% for educational purposes, 69.8 consider that the contribution of the project has been normal, 59.8 have used electronic government, 62.3% believe that the project has contributed normally to tourism and education and 61.5% agree that the positive impact of the project has been little satisfying.
