Yhteenveto:In the vehicle registration area of the Directorate of Mobility, Transit, and Transportation of the GADM of Colta, the time that elapses to perform a procedure is high. This situation has generated that lately there is discomfort and complaints from users because of service delays. This research work was carried out to apply the Queue Theory study in the vehicle registration area of the Transit Mobility and Transportation Department of the GADM of Colta and evaluate the efficiency of the service. For the research development, the survey and observation were used as research techniques, in addition to the Queuing Theory models of one channel and multiple channels with Poisson arrivals and exponential service time. The survey results regarding the level of satisfaction showed that 54% were dissatisfied since the waiting time ranged from 1 to 2 hours. Based on the data obtained on arrival times and service time, it was determined that the one-channel model is inefficient and the multiple-channel model with two servers is optimal. Based on the results obtained from the survey application and the Queuing Theory, it is concluded that the system requires the addition of a channel for the service to be efficient and the waiting time to be reduced.
