La responsabilidad social empresarial y su incidencia en el desarrollo sostenible en el sector avícola de la ciudad de Riobamba.

The main objective of the present research work entitled “Corporate Social Responsibility and its impact on Sustainable Development in the poultry sector of the city of Riobamba”, aims to propose a manual of corporate social responsibility, aimed at promoting practices that contribute to the sustainable development of the sector, the manual is designed to help poultry companies to improve their economic, social and environmental impact, promoting a more sustainable and responsible growth in the poultry sector of the city. The research methodology used is hypothetical-deductive type, in conjunction with various techniques and instruments to collect data, such as interviews with the owners of the companies and a survey of workers, this methodology allowed the verification of the hypothesis through the data collected, thus facilitating the analysis of the problem investigated and the identification of solutions. The results were evaluated using SPSS statistical software, applying reliability tests such as Cronbach's Alpha coefficient and Chi-Square tests. These results show that Corporate Social Responsibility does have an impact on the Sustainable Development of the poultry sector in the city of Riobamba, that is, the alternative hypothesis is approved and the null hypothesis is rejected. Thus, it is concluded that it is important to adopt a Corporate Social Responsibility manual to guide poultry companies towards practices that are not only profitable, but also sustainable and socially responsible. This contributes to a balanced development that benefits both the business and the sector, promoting a responsible poultry sector that is prepared to face future challenges.
