| Resumo: | For effective labor performance, it is a priority for companies to support planning so that their processes have a high level of productivity through careful monitoring of the activities performed by all workers, providing them with tools to boost motivation, growth, and efficiency within the company. Based on this perception, the development of this research work entitled "Labor performance and productivity of the Marlene Footwear Sewing Company in Quito" was carried out to determine the labor performance and productivity in this company. For this purpose, a descriptive, field, non-experimental, qualitative methodology was used because the facts were appreciated as they occurred in their natural environment. The survey was chosen as the data collection technique, and the structured questionnaire of 26 questions as an instrument. The personnel who participated in this study were the managers of the organization and its 35 collaborators. The free Excel software was used to process the results in order to tabulate and represent them graphically. It was found that 25.7% of the personnel took less than 5 hours to produce a dozen shoes, 20% took 5 to 6 hours, and 54.3% indicated that it took more than 6 hours. Therefore, it was concluded that the employees' work performance influences their productivity. For this reason, it is essential to act and solve them and propose strategies to improve the performance of the personnel to achieve individual and collective goals. |
