| सारांश: | The playful method, a fundamental educational practice, has recently gained recognition as an indispensable tool for enriching and bringing about significant educational changes. This research aimed to determine the importance of the playful method in the learning process of fourth-grade children at Escuela de Educación Básica "Fé y Alegría" in the city of Riobamba, school year 2023-2024. The research adopted a qualitative approach, using techniques such as the observation sheet for data collection. It had a non-experimental design and a descriptive scope. It was field, bibliographic, cross-sectional, and explanatory research. The validation of the research instruments by experts yielded excellent results, ensuring the reliability of the information collected. The sample consisted of 36 students. The results revealed that students face difficulties in learning and that educational games allow them to develop their cognitive, physical, motor, and affective abilities. The research results showed that implementing playful methods is highly effective in stimulating students' interest and commitment, improving their understanding and retention of concepts, and strengthening their skills. Likewise, activities should be diversified and planned systematically. In addition, continuous evaluations of academic performance would be necessary to adjust pedagogical practices. |
