| Ամփոփում: | The objective of the research was to determine the relevance of postgraduate training in Nursing. The study is based on descriptive, cross-sectional research with a quantitative approach. The population was 450 health professionals to whom a survey divided into three sections, informational data, training interest, and affinity criteria were applied. To 17 employees, a survey divided into three sections, informational data, selection of professionals, and professional performance, was applied. The surveys were validated by the trial of experts from the National University of Chimborazo. The results obtained concerning knowledge and skills have a high level of interest, 64% prefer to study on Saturdays and Sundays, 91% like to study at the National University of Chimborazo, 73% are interested in Public Health program, 32% want to study for self-improvement, 45% opt for an educational loan, and 31% are interested in the Master Degree in Care Management. The employees refer that the institutions select professionals with a higher preparation, and the areas of the more important requirement of professionals with a Master's degree in health institutions are Gyneco-Obstetrics and Research and Teaching. In summary, it can be determined that both professionals with third-level studies and managers; they emphasize the importance of educational preparation and the demand that health professionals with postgraduate studies. |
