Shrnutí:The present research called “Study of the myth of the Unach (“Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo” Government and its relashionship to communication planning , January-June 2019 period” , it was proposed and structured with the objective of carrying out an analysis of the communication environment in the institution as well the objective out as well as determining how the communication processes allow to strengthen the government myth, that is , the government proyect that becomes a tool for generating consensus and consistent in the development of social and political sense. The development of the thesis focused on the bibliographic compilation based on functionalist theory and the main definitions such as organizational communication, institutional communication, communication planning, strategic planning, government myth and a brief review of the Unach. To analyze and identify the gaps in which the institutional policies are used by the institution, the mixed methodology was used in which a survey aimed at the internal audience was applied quantitatively and qualitatively interviews were conducted with experts on the subject to strengthen the investigation. The questions asked to the internal audience determine the role that the Department of Social Communication Coordination plays in addition to analyzing the Institutional Strategic Plan (2017) and the Institutional Strategic Communication Plan (2019) in effect. Finally, with the obtained results , a manual of internal strategies will be developed to strengthen communication with the audience.
