Označite | Izvleček: | Access to drinking water in the Guano Canton faces significant challenges due to a lack of technical guidance, inefficient system management, and the absence of accurate data on costs and consumption. This study aims to compare the flow rates, served population, costs, and operating expenses of fifteen drinking water systems in the canton to identify efficiency patterns and propose improvement strategies. The methodology is based on data collection through accountability requests from water management boards, organizing the information according to demographic and hydraulic criteria. Based on this data, correlations will be established between the cost per cubic meter, cost per user, and system efficiency, considering the geographical hierarchy of the communities. The expected results include identifying disparities in system efficiency, detecting factors contributing to poor management, and proposing strategies to optimize the operation and maintenance of drinking water systems. This analysis seeks to provide valuable information for decision-making in water management policies and improve the sustainability of drinking water access in communities with technical and infrastructure limitations. |
