Shrnutí:The Balanceados El Piolin Company of Riobamba city, since its creation, has been developing its marketing process empirically, applying marketing strategies and sales marketing; due to ignorance of the management and application of these. In this way, the level of sales has had a low performance and does not have business growth. This study was carried out with the purpose of knowing how the company handles the marketing situation and observe the shortcomings it has, when working in these areas that are of vital importance for all companies. In this company, economic and working capital, production, marketing have been invested, but it lacks a more professional service to meet customer requirements. The results obtained from the investigation and the dialogue with the clients allowed us to verify the problems of the company in its marketing management and thus recommend what strategies they could apply to improve business performance and have a closer relationship with their clients and maintain them permanently as which would represent an increase in the level of sales.
