Add Tag | Summary: | The aim of the present research was to determine the technological progress of small and medium-sized enterprises at the Pedro Vicente Maldonado canton, Pichincha province; using data collection tools to diagnose the situation of the companies that are part of this division. The methodology used for the development of the research, in the first instance the method used was the hypothetical-deductive method because there is a hypothesis to be proven or rejected; in this case the type of research is descriptive; the design applied is non-experimental because the variables were not manipulated. We proceeded according to the sample obtained thanks to the statistical information of the INEC Business Directory (2017), so we worked with 65 companies which belong to the small and medium-sized business division of the sector, to obtain the necessary data, the survey was applied. The results obtained indicate that the current problem is persistent and it is necessary to apply the strategies mentioned in the research proposal to maximize production through improvement in the technology level from economic sectors. |
