Codependencia y calidad de vida en esposas de alcohólicos del grupo “el sol nace para todos” del cantón Guano, periodo diciembre 2016 - mayo 2017

The main objective of this research project is to analyze codependency and quality of life. The type of research was field, cross-sectional design and level of descriptive research. Data collection techniques and instruments used were: Spann and Fischer Codependence Scale to determine the level of Codependence in the population, and the GEN - CAT Scale for Quality of Life, to establish the profile of quality of life. The techniques for the analysis of results were processed using basic statistics of the Excel program which, when reviewed, were presented in tables, and afterwards the conclusions and recommendations were reached. Once the research was concluded, Codependence and Quality of Life are closely related, showing that 18 women, equivalent to 90%, have a high level of codependency, while 2 women, equivalent to 10% of the population, have a level Low codependency. It is also determined that 100% have a Low Quality of Life Profile, with the most affected dimensions being Emotional Well-Being, Interpersonal Relationships and Self-Determination. Based on the results obtained in the research, a Psychotherapeutic intervention plan was designed.
