| Summary: | The aim of our study was to analyze the influence of a swimming training program for learning children aged 7-9 years. We woriced with a population of 20 children who participated in two training programs of 40 sessions of 45 minutes for 8 weeks. The two layers the same program was applied. Before, during and after the intervention, we evaluate rhythmic breathing (RB), buoyancy in water (dorsal ventral displacement) (WB), freestyle (coordinated leg movement, arms) (FS), back style (coordinated movement legs, arms) (BS), kick butterfly (basic idea) (KB) and kick chest (basic idea) (KC) through a pre and post test. Children improved learning swimming in the pre test data were deficient because children did not dominate the exercises assessed, once the training program was efficient swimming learning applied. Assessed the post test the following data were obtained; RB 100% 85% improved in WB 100% also 85% improved in 100% 75% improved technique, BS 100% 90 % improved in KB100% 60% had an improvement in the KC and 100% variable only 15% improved this activity. We conclude that the swimming teaching program (40 weekly sessions of 45 minutes) for 8 weeks, has a positive influence on learning swimming in children aged 7-9 years, although the focus is leisure and recreation and that a functional exercise program sessions aim of global work (physical skills, motor and mental concentration) significantly improves RB, WB, FS, KB and KC, compared to those not incorporated. Therefore, we recommend inclusion in education programs aimed at children swimming 7-9 years. |
