La interculturalidad en los procesos comunicacionales en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal de Tena, 2021.

The present research work focuses on interculturality in the communicational processes in the GADM Tena, 2021. The methodology used was qualitative-quantitative, using survey and interview techniques. The universe of the study was distributed in two groups (A and B); (A) conforms the workers of the municipality of Tena; (B) refers to the stratification of the number of people in the seven rural parishes and one rural parish of the Tena Canton. The results determined that the “Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal” of Tena does not manage a true intercultural communication, so that the communication does not reach all areas in an equitable manner, on the other hand, the approach of the same is sectorized and the topics treated from the Communication Direction does not go in accordance with what it means to put interculturality into practice. Therefore, it is necessary to rectify and adapt the current communication processes to what was proposed by the researcher, through a communication plan that, according to the results, is expected to improve the intercultural communication directed to the internal and external public of the public institution; the communication, as established by law, must ensure the fair and equitable distribution of resources that meet the needs of those who live in the canton.
