Aggiungi Tag | Riassunto: | ABSTRACT The research exposes the therapeutic approach in temporomandibular disorder, nowadays in developed countries we work with an interdisciplinary team in order to treat patients with a more global approach, it is observed from several fields of study of health sciences the same pathology to reach a more effective treatment in the case of temporomandibular disorder; it is a pathology that affects the adult population and is of multifactorial origin, its most important symptom is myogenic pain in the cervical and maxillofacial region. The risk factors are stress, bruxism, and loss of teeth. For its treatment in the area of physical rehabilitation, several therapeutic methods are used, such as the use of physical agents, manual techniques and specific exercises. The research is of a bibliographic type, based on investigations about the physiotherapeutic approach found in scientific databases such as Pubmed, Scielo, Scopus, and for the evaluation of previously selected articles the Pedro scale was used.
