Análisis de la Herramienta OTRS para la Gestión de solicitudes aplicado al Departamento De Infraestructura De La Universidad Nacional De Chimborazo.

This thesis project consists of the implementation of the management system OTRS applications in the Department of Infrastructure and maintenance of UNACH. Getting the advantage of ease of management and configuration management applications. Requests for more frequent requests are for the maintenance of the infrastructure in terms of electricity, masonry, mechanical, painting, electrical engineering, gardening presented in different departments of the institution, it should be emphasized that when such requests to be addressed lead a process in which each applicant must come personally with a trade, which causes inconvenience, since many of the time there is the person who requests receive. The purpose of the implementation of OTRS is to provide the staff of the various departments, an application that allows them to generate their requirements quickly and easily, in addition also offer other input means such as email or phone request to provide them with any moment they can submit requests for services, since by agents module, you can take control and monitoring of the request made by the staff to the solution of it and even have a number of custom reports. To fulfill this purpose in the first instance carried out a thorough analysis of the OTRS tool, in which themes are treated as the functionality of the tool, the main features, advantages, software requirements and hardware and primordial way answers the question Why implement OTRS?; Whereupon the foundation for its further implementation is based.
