| Summary: | The generation of debris waste and its deficiency in the integral management at a global, national or even local level are alarming, as evidenced of the canton of Guano, this area doesn’t have a waste management plan who establishes the technical parameters of response to the problem. In this context, the main objective of this research is the design of a municipal landfill that accumulates this type of waste under all the established technical parameters. Through the descriptive study and bibliographic review, where the characterization of the debris waste generated within the Guano canton will be carried out; under the application of the Planning Process in the Construction Sector, where the totality of the current population of the year 2022 was determined as a base of population sampling and the projection to the year 2042 of the future population for the estimation of values of the volumes of debris waste. Then we proceed with the selection of the site the best environmental characteristics for the location of the municipal landfill, using spatial location software such as ArcGIS and applying the methodology of Analytic Hierarchy Process; where, by means of the weighting of technical criteria and the sectorization of the Guano canton applying the Vector Mesh Fishnet with an area of 4 km2 of each cell and its respective codification; allowed the identification of suitable and unsuitable area in the canton Guano, resulting in 100% compliance with the criteria in three cells named (A5, B2 and B3). But in view of the rapid response to this problem, the municipality proposed three sites (Sigsipamba, San Vicente and Miraflores) that were subjected to the same technical analysis, in which it was identified that the Miraflores de Guano Concession is suitable for the design of a landfill. Once the site was selected, we proceeded with topographic survey of the area to identify the different elevations and their characteristics. It was determined that the dump is of the Hollow Mine type and its dumping system must be by superimposed ascending phases. With this characteristic, we proceeded whit the structural design using AutoCAD civil 3D; for which, the dump will have a maximum height of 30 meters formed by 5 terraces, a total volume of 152.464,69 m3 and a useful life of 13,1 years. |
