Ամփոփում:This research was carried out with children in third grade parallel “A” at “Martiniano Guerrero Freire” school. Its purpose was to analyze if popular literatura influences the construction of identity, and it was concluded that this type of literature contributes to the process of self-identification, as through it socio-cultural aspects are transmitted Which provide guidelines so thet children can choose the aspects that in the future will shape their individuality. For this reason, the research process begins with the referential framework focusing on the problem. The objectives and justification are stated, where the relevance of the reserch is highlighted. Subsequently the scientific framework related to the philosophical, epistemological foundation is defined, pedagógica, psychological, sociological, axiological and legal. Within the theoretical foundation reference to the contents related to the independent variable is made that corresponds to popular literature and the dependent variable identity. The methodology for this research were the synthetic analytical, inductive-deductive methods and it is determined that this is a non-experimental investigation, exploratory and descriptive diagnosis as well as the population. Observation was used as technique and the observation form as instrument. In the chapter raelated to the analysis and interpretation of results, it is specifically focused on the tabulation of data by means of tables and statistical graphs of the obtained data, to proceed to determine the conclusions and recommendations.
