| Summary: | ABSTRACT: It has as references that psychoprophylaxis in pregnancy was born in Russia and later spread to Western Europe where approximately half of all women who give birth in France use psychoprophylaxis. In Sweden it was introduced in the early 1970s and is now regaining popularity as a method of coping with labor pain. It is known that cognitively, by focusing on breathing and relaxation instead of pain, it improves oxygenation and reduces muscle tension, in addition to psychologically helping to reduce fear and improve the feeling of personal control, for which techniques are used. of relaxation and breathing in order to contribute more to a woman's ability to cope with labor pain than to actually reduce it. The qualitative research work consisted of collecting information from virtual libraries and databases such as PubMed, Scielo, Elsivier, Scopus, Cochrane. The level of research used was descriptive, when analyzing the mentioned effects of scientific articles published up to 10 years after the date, being a retrospective investigation, the studies were referring to the benefits generated during the application of psychoprophylaxis in pregnancy, with exercises or techniques to relieve low back and pelvic pain related to pregnancy. After the analysis of information, data was obtained that recommend that to gain muscle strength, flexibility and resistance and contribute to the ability to maintain normal activities of life after childbirth; pilates exercise and psychoprophylaxis during pregnancy improves the delivery process and increases maternal satisfaction with childbirth without causing complications for mother and baby Keywords: (Psychoprophylaxis, Postpartum Depression, Pregnant Women, Anxiety) |
