| Sumari: | The objective of this research is to develop a mobile prototype under the M-Health technology use for ambulatory health care in real time for patients with chronic diseases from the Medical Department of the National University of Chimborazo (UNACH). In chapter I, the approach to the problem describes the needs of the Medical Department of the UNACH in relation to the ambulatory health care and proposes a solution using new information technologies. Chapter II, State of Art, is a review of literature in Journals, e-Books on issues related to: M-Health technology, usability and Agile development methodologies for mobile applications. In chapter III, the methodology used for the development, implementation and evaluation of the mobile prototype is described. The Agile Mobile Development Process Spiral methodology was used for the analysis and development, through which we can evaluate usability criteria in mobile applications. For the prototype evaluation, the heuristic criteria of Jakob Nielsen are described. In chapter IV, the results, conclusions and recommendations are stated. For the evaluation of the mobile prototype PRE and POST surveys were elaborated, criteria of the interface design were analyzed, and surveys were applied to 30 patients of the Medical Department of the UNACH. The usability criteria with the highest incidence are: relationship between the system and the real world, consistency and usage standards, and aesthetics and minimalist design. |
