Dodaj etykietę | Streszczenie: | This investigation Project represented as the main objective to describe through the ethnographic study, the sociocultural characterization of “Chagra Warmi” figure, which has been performed in the parish of Quimiag, canton Riobamba in Chimborazo province. The qualitative method has been used with a type of descriptive research that allow us to create documentary and field investigation, applying techniques such as bibliographic or documentary research, interviews, and observation sheets. Each one of these applied to the inhabitants of Quimiag parish, the local Chagras Warmis, the main local leaders and provincial associations of these groups called chacareros. The socioeconomic context, historical background conceptualization, daily living, functionality, traditional costume, popular festivals and their own characters factors were determined. The results revealed the way of living of these peasant women population regarding to livestock and agriculture, dealing with factors such as weather and economics, moreover, their roles in the family structure, the society, community, and labor participation. As well the attachment to their culture through their beliefs, ancestral knowledge, even the chacareras practices that allow this culture to remain current. |
