Итог:The presence of anemia in pregnant women is a worldwide health problem. During this stage, the consumption of iron increases considerably due to the progressive increase of the erythrocyte mass and plasma volume in relation to the fetoplacental needs. There may be various triggering causes associated with risks, making some women more prone to suffer from this condition. This research aims to specify the importance of the ferrokinetic profile of anemia in pregnancy through a review of bibliographic sources. The approach used is qualitative, descriptive, documentary, cross-sectional, and retrospective. The population consisted of 85 articles. After applying the inclusion criteria addressing the ferrokinetic profile of anemia in pregnancy, a sample of 53 articles was selected, published in various scientific platforms such as Scielo, Google Scholar, Redalyc, NCBI, PubMed, Dialnet, Medigraphic, Elsevier, Revista Latindex, Lilacs, and Link Springer. The results demonstrate the main risk factors, starting with nutritional status (31.83%), low socioeconomic level (26.19%), particularly in pregnant women under 20 years of age (11.38%) and over 35 (12.31%). Additionally, it was determined that the most specific ferrokinetic indicator for diagnosing anemia is ferritin, which is typically found at decreased levels. However, some authors suggest that the transferrin receptor test is an alternative diagnostic method. Finally, some studies consider the ferrokinetic profile as awhole to be a beneficial tool.
