The proposal of this research project is the design of administration by processes, this is done under a quality management system in the Industrial Engineering Career applied to the governing processes, and this is based on the legal regulations of the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo and its respective statute. In order to structure the quality management system of the career, three manuals are created, they are: quality manual, under the ISO 9001:2015 international standard, process manual, function manual, procedures of the governing processes of the career, instruction manuals, documents and records. The quality management approach is applied based on what is established by the ISO 9001:2015 international standard. This is carried out for satisfying the people involved, these people are professors, students, managers and society as a whole. It also has the purpose of providing them with a guide that can be implemented in the other careers of the Engineering faculty and in the other faculties of the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo. It is important to stand out that the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo already has a quality management system at institutional level, but the goal of this research project is to work on the design of administration by processes related to its governing processes in the career since there is not enough information and this is done with a quality management system under the ISO 9001: 2015 international standard.
