Summary:This research is intended to state a methodological strategy addressed to the musical arts teaching in children with low vision and blindness, in the Specialized Educational Unit "Dr. Luis Benavides" in the city of Riobamba. The study methodology used accounts for qualitative, field, exploratory, and applied research thus, the technique used was the qualitative observation by using the observation sheet employing a satisfaction scale as the tool to obtain the statistical data, in this aim synchronous activities were carried out on the platform-zoom addressed to the study participants, the population consisted of 16 students and the sample was reduced to a total of 13 participants by Radom selection sampling. From this study results it was demonstrated the importance of developing teaching methodologies aimed to assist as well as solve the visually impaired population needs by improving the adaptation of didactic material in regarding to accessibility to the study material as well as the flexibility of the contents applied.
