সংক্ষিপ্ত:ABSTRAC The objective of this bibliographic review was to describe the nursing interventions to be applied in the fatigue of the caregiver role in guardians of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This disorder constitutes a variability of neurological development mainly characterized by impairment in social interaction and communication, repetitive behavior and inflexibility. It generally begins in childhood, where caregivers are responsible for seeking diagnosis, treatment, social support, and implementing therapy. Factors such as stress, burden of care, stigma and lack of resources generate tension in the care work and the tendency to neglect their own health, influencing their quality of life and that of the child. A descriptive, analytical study was carried out through a systematic review of 37 scientific articles, available in indexed journals, which were accessed through databases such as Google Scholar, Scielo, PubMed, ProQuest, and NCBI. Coincidences and discrepancies were identified in the authors' criteria regarding the needs of the autistic patient, problems experienced by the caregiver and strategies to improve coping, to finally create a nursing intervention plan based on the NANDA-NOC-NIC taxonomy. As a result, the needs of the autistic child were identified, which were: improving social interaction and adjusting the communication pattern, thorough help with hygiene, clothing, special feeding, adequate disposal of physiological waste, treatment and specialized educational resources; The main problems experienced by caregivers were lack of knowledge, stigma, economic problems, difficulty in accessing social services, ineffective coping styles, and physical and psycho-emotional affectation. Strategies that help improve coping include education for the family, community, health and educational personnel; interdisciplinary work, support groups, workshops for families, and guidance on available services.
