Описание
Итог:Negative pressure therapy (NPT) is an advanced technique for complex wound care that exerts controlled suction on the entire affected surface, stimulating the formation of new tissue and preventing the release of exudate and infections in the wound. This bibliographic review is documentary, descriptive, and qualitative, aiming to highlight the crucial role of nursing professionals in applying TPN. Through a critical analysis of 113 original scientific publications available from recognized international databases such as Science, Medigraphic, Medline, Elsevier, Dialnet, and in the SciELO digital library, it was possible to identify the effectiveness of the negative pressure system, as well as to demonstrate the invaluable Nursing interventions in the application of TPN in patients with wounds that are difficult to heal. In conclusion, negative pressure therapy is an effective and safe intervention that reduces the healing time of complex wounds and significantly improves the patient's quality of life. It has a more advanced and practical approach to treating difficult-healing wounds compared to other advanced treatments. It can control exudates, stimulate blood circulation, maintain an optimal wound bed environment, accelerate tissue regeneration, minimize healing times, and reduce economic costs. The studies analyzed for triangulation highlight the importance of nursing professionals' experience, competence, and skills in treating complex wounds with negative pressure therapy, inspiring and motivating them to continue their invaluable work.
