Description
Résumé:The effect of climate change has caused certain types of damage to urban structures, which has reduced the useful life of these structures. The urban component of greater horizontal surface within a city is the pavement, which due to its characteristics is vulnerable to permanent deformations, due to high temperatures produced as the effect of the formation of urban heat islands. To reduce the appearance of permanent deformations on asphalts, studies are carried out with the SUPERPAVE method by means of an LTPP algorithm that gives us the AASHTO M320, which transforms the estimated air temperature into temperatures that reach the surface of the pavement, which according to Certain parameters help us obtain the required PG performance. The results achieved in the peripheral part of the city show a higher temperature than the central parts, as is usually the case, thus obtaining a temperature of 52 ° C, which may be the degree of performance for the asphalt binder in PG 58-16, to achieve optimum pavement performance due to sudden temperature changes.
