Tilføj Tag | Summary: | The present research was conducted to analyze the influence of environmental interpretation on sustainable tourism in the Cotopaxi National Park. Likewise, through the analysis, it was possible to demonstrate the limited ecological performance, which leads to insufficient tourism development. The methodology used for this research was bibliographic, exploratory, descriptive, correlational, and explanatory documentary, in the same way as the non-experimental and transversal research design. On the other hand, the results of the surveys used for the research allowed us to know the perception of tourists who visit the Cotopaxi National Park and public officials, providing a broad and diverse vision of the situation to understand the relationships between the independent and dependent variables; Finally, based on the results and data obtained in the research, a proposal has been designed for the creation of an environmental interpretation center to develop a valuable contribution to benefit both visitors and local inhabitants, promote thus growth and sustainability in the region. |
