| Summary: | This research delves into the transformative potential of educational chatbots in teaching and learning processes within virtual environments. The main objective was to develop an innovative educational chatbot designed to integrate with existing digital materials and enhance the learning experience. A mixed-methods study was conducted, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected through surveys directed at teachers and a pilot implementation of the chatbot in the Entrepreneurship and Management course. The analysis of the results revealed that teachers positively value the chatbot's ability to personalize learning, adapting both the pace and content to the specific needs of each student. They also appreciated its potential to promote dialogue, fostering interaction and active participation in the educational process, even beyond the classroom. Additionally, teachers highlighted that the chatbot significantly contributes to strengthening academic knowledge, reinforcing key concepts, and providing immediate feedback. The conclusions indicate that integrating educational chatbots into virtual environments not only optimizes the educational experience but also promotes more autonomous and continuous learning. This study emphasizes the importance of designing effective strategies to implement these tools, considering the needs of both teachers and students. In this way, it paves the way for future research on the possibilities offered by digital education. |
