Etiketle | Özet: | The objective of this investigation was to determine the frequency of the lower third molars, included according to the Pell and Gregory classification, in 140 panoramic x-ray examinations taken at Digital X radiological center. The study was prospective, descriptive and transversal in nature. A number of 220 panoramic x-ray examinations were collected, which were selected using the exclusión criteria, a total of 140 x-ray examinations were determined that met the inclusión criteria. It was determined that the most predominant population group was female (57,1%) over male (42.9%). In addition, it was established that the included third molars was predominant in young adult patients aged from 18 to 27 years. In the city of Riobamba, period January 2016 to May 2017; and , from the observation of the x-ray samples and the processing of the data obtained, it could be established that the most prevalent position was class II in piece 38 position B and in piece 48 position A, relatively retained in the bone |
