| Summary: | Alejandra Pizarnik's poetry is characterized by her emotional intensity and profound introspection of the self. For this reason, the aim of this research was to analyze the representations of loneliness and despair in Alejandra Pizarnik's Árbol de Diana. To achieve this, a qualitative approach was used, employing both bibliographic and documentary methodology. Content analysis was the primary technique. The research revealed that Pizarnik uses a surrealist language, characterized by breaking traditional logic through dreamlike images, metaphors, and paradoxes. In doing so, she creates poems full of symbolism and great emotional meaning. Ultimately, loneliness and despair open a space for introspection and the search for meaning. In conclusion, the representations of loneliness and despair in Árbol de Diana are clearly complex constructions, full of surrealist and literary resources, which transform the collection of poems into an intimate and symbolic journey, where language becomes a refuge and mirror of all the pain stored within. |
