Evaluación del tiempo y costo en el proceso constructivo, entre pavimentos: rígidos y flexibles construidos en especificas vías de Riobamba

Viability is a predominant factor in the development of cities, therefore the research aims to visualize the cost benefit in the construction processes between two types of pavement, rigid and flexible, its advantages or benefits, as well as its disadvantages, with which will facilitate the decision-making of which construction process to apply according to the reality of the city of Riobamba to correct its mobility and viability needs in the canton, for which through documentary research it is intended to provide a solution to the proposed objectives, as well as with the comparative analysis to be able to establish the realities of the two pavements and establish the best of them for said reality, concluding that: When considering which pavement is better for the city, this will depend on several factors, mainly the economic one, in this case it would be the best option the flexible pavement, as well as for the construction time, but if it is considered that the pavement r The rigid requires less maintenance than the flexible one and its durability is greater, the rigid one would be chosen, considering the traffic or the means of transport that are going to be mobilized through said route, it is observed that the majority of the traffic is light since it borders the 93 % of the total traffic analyzed, which would opt for the flexible pavement option, since if there is a greater concentration of heavy traffic, the rigid pavement would be better, considering that it has greater resistance to this type of traffic.
