Gaia:ABSTRACT: The purpose of the present investigation was to evaluate the compressive resistance of three resinous cements: Paracore, AllCem-core and Rebilda in the reconstruction of tooth stumps, through an experimental, observational, cross-sectional In-vitro study with a quantitative approach. Using 80 test specimen dimensions of 6 mm high by 3 mm in diameter, divided into 4 groups, were made; Group A-Rebilda, Group B-AllCem-core; Group C- Paracore and Control Group- 3M Universal Filtek Z350 XT Resin. The specimens were subjected to compression tests in the Universal Tinius Olsen super L 120 testing machine with a capacity of 500 kilo Newton (kN) at a speed of 1 millimeter per minute (mm/min) of the Stress and Vibration Analysis Laboratory of the EPN. The compressive strength was 173.15 MPa for group A; 145.99 MPa for group B; 216.43 MPa for group C and 152.10 for the control group. It is evident that there is a significant difference P<0.05 (P=0.001), with obtained results the C-Paracore group led to higher compressive strength results than the rest of the resinous cements in this study.
