Итог:Dementia has become an epidemic in the 21st century, associated with high rates of population aging. In this context, Alzheimer's Disease (AD) stands out as the most common form of presentation. This text presents a systematic review that aims to determine the effects of aerobic activity (AE) in patients with Alzheimer's. For this, a descriptive, exploratory, and analytical methodology was used. The PRISMA methodology guided the selection of studies, and their quality was evaluated using the PEDro scale. 30 clinical trials with scores above 6 on the quality scale were obtained. The findings suggest that AE has a positive effect on the main deficits of patients with AD. It was also found that the practice of aerobics is associated with improvements in cognitive, executive, memory, and processing speed functions; and it was evidenced that moderate to vigorous intensity AE, especially when combined with strengthening exercises, produces significant increases in muscle strength, endurance, and balance. Therefore, it is concluded that the results strongly supported that aerobic activity, when practiced appropriately in terms of dose, time, and intensity, produces positive effects at both the cognitive and motor level in patients with AD, findings that underline the importance of including the aerobic component in physical activity programs targeted at this population.
