Riassunto:This research exposes the main factors that limit walking in older people after total hip arthroplasty (HAT). Due to the fact that in recent years, the increase in degenerative pathologies such as hip osteoarthritis has interfered with the function and quality of life of the elderly, several types of treatment have emerged, which implies the implementation of new techniques. surgical procedures to preserve or preserve the joint. Total hip arthroplasty is the procedure of choice for advanced degenerative disease, however, although the technique has been perfected assuming less soft tissue aggression and less muscle damage, the presence of certain complications is undeniable. For this reason, the postoperative phase often becomes a long and painful process, and as a result, the rehabilitation becomes extensive due to the changes that occur in the body of patients, increasing the postoperative risks and causing changes in the pattern of the progress of patients. The research consists of scientific information to demonstrate the main complications that older people face in terms of the rehabilitation process in walking after ACT. To obtain the result, 65 studies dealing with the subject were used, of which 35 articles served as the basis for the development of the book.
