Factores socio-económicos y el proceso migratorio hacia los Estados Unidos de los habitantes de Tixán 2018-2020

The present study focuses on analyzing the socio-economic factors that influence the migration process to the United States of the inhabitants of Tixán during the period 2018- 2020. The results of this research can contribute to understanding the reasons that drive migration and serve as a basis for formulating policies and strategies that support the population. The main objective of this study was to identify how local economic and social conditions affect the population's decisions and how the migration process is carried out. Furthermore, people emigrate from their home country for several reasons, such as socio-economic, low income, lack of employment and work, education, excess labor, and social inequality economy all these factors influence migration. Based on these causes, social groups immigrate to places of greater economic development to seek a better future. Currently, a large percentage of houses in some communities in Tixán parish are abandoned as a product of migration. In summary, socioeconomic factors play a fundamental role in the migration process of the inhabitants from Tixán to the United States during the period studied. The lack of job opportunities and the low quality of life in the locality are factors that push many individuals to seek better conditions abroad.
